Priya MohanPriya Mohan joined Harris & Ruble in 2009.  Her practice is primarily focused on individual and class-action cases involving wage-and-hour violations under the California Labor Code and the Fair Labor Standards Act and violations of the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, as well as various entertainment-related matters.  Ms. Mohan’s practice also includes general business litigation and contracts.  Ms. Mohan is also a certified mediator, having completed her training at UCLA and the Center for Dispute Resolution.

Prior to joining Harris & Ruble, Ms. Mohan’s practice focused on corporate and general business matters, including issues relating to shareholder disputes, contracts, unfair competition, trademark and copyright infringement and employment disputes.  Ms. Mohan also advised clients regarding their employment policies and employee handbooks to ensure compliance with California labor laws.

In 2010, Ms. Mohan earned a Masters degree in Public Policy from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs.  During her Master’s program, she conducted research on issues of international law and policy, including alternative dispute resolution in international conflicts and international labor standards for guest workers.  Ms. Mohan also worked with Loyola Law School’s Anti-Trafficking Litigation Assistance and Support Team.   Ms. Mohan was a recipient of the Michael S. Dukakis Fellowship in Public Policy, Department of Public Policy Fellowship and the Policy Scholar Fellowship.  Ms. Mohan was also the Co-President of the UCLA Graduate Students International Affairs Association.

Ms. Mohan graduated from the University of Michigan’s Honor’s College in 2000, magna cum laude, with aB.A. in English.
