Alan Harris

Mr. Harris has specialized in business litigation for more than 30 years. He is an expert in employer-employee litigation and has tried numerous complex commercial cases and entertainment industry matters in state and federal courts and in arbitration. He is licensed to practice in California and Illinois and is admitted to appear before all California Courts, as well as in the United States Supreme Court and the Third, Seventh, and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal.

Mr. Harris is a graduate of the University of Illinois (1970) and the University of Illinois School of Law (J.D. 1974). He is licensed to practice in California (1990) and Illinois (1974).

Marcella Ruble

Ms. Ruble is licensed to practice in Illinois and has handled an extensive variety of cases, including employer-employee litigation, partnership and corporate disputes, and general commercial and contract litigation.

Ms. Ruble is a graduate of the University of Illinois (1972) and IIT Chicago Kent School of Law (J.D. 1989).

Lisa Owen

Ms. Owen is experienced in class action and employment law litigation. She is a graduate of Truman State University (1996) and the University of Kansas School of Law (J.D. 1999). She is licensed to practice in Kansas (1999) and California (2000).

Jonathan Ricasa

Mr. Ricasa is a graduate of UCLA (1997) and the USC School of Law (J.D. 2001). He is licensed to practice in California (2002).

Abigail A. Treanor

Abigail A. Treanor is an associate at Harris & Ruble where her practice focuses on litigation. Ms. Treanor received her juris doctor from the UCLA School of Law in 2003. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2000, where she became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She is admitted to practice in the State of California. Ms. Treanor presently sits as vice president on the board of directors of the Filipino American Library and Filipino American Heritage Institute.

David Zelenski

Mr. Zelenski received his Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law School (2003). He graduated from Reed College (1999) and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. His Note, Talent Agents, Personal Managers, and Their Conflicts in the New Hollywood, was published in volume 76 of the Southern California Law Review. He is admitted to practice in the State of California.

Matthew Kavanaugh

Mr. Kavanaugh graduated from Emerson College with a degree in film production (2000) and received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern University of Law (2005). While at Southwestern, he intermingled his passion for law with his knowledge of the entertainment industry and intellectual property. Shortly after graduating from Southwestern, Mr. Kavanaugh joined the Harris & Ruble team where his entertainment and film background continues to be utilized for the benefit of our clients. He is licensed to practice in California (2005).

Dean Bray

Mr. Bray has been a member of IATSE Local 728 for over three decades, serving on its Board for many years. He has served as President and Business Agent for Local 728 and worked as an Assistant Business Agent for IATSE Local 44 until 2000, when he commenced working as an Investigator for Harris & Ruble.

Dennis Bjorklund
Mr. Bjorklund received his degree in Business Administration from California State University in 1985. He has worked for 30 years in various industries including international oil trading, entertainment, retail and manufacturing.

Kathryn B. Abrams
Kathryn Abrams is a graduate of the University of Michigan (2001) and Wayne State University Law School (J.D. 2004). She is licensed to practice law in Michigan (2004).
